How Not To Fail In Your Network Marketing Business

Are you struggling in your network marketing business? How would you like to know the secret to not failing in your business?

So many people see the incredible opportunity with an MLM company and they jump on the band wagon. I applaud you for doing so! The problem is most people have unreal expectations from the very start.

What do I mean by that? Well, let me explain there are so many people that I feel are doing this industry of network marketing a huge dis-service. What I mean by that is all you hear about is how you?re going to be rich! All you do is get three that get three that get three. You are never prepared to what really lies ahead.

The biggest reason that someone fails in network marketing is because of mindset and nothing else. That is as long as the company is a reputable company. Let me explain, everyone grows up learning from their parents. Now as loving as they are most of our parents are not rich and they have no idea how to become rich.

You?re told to go to school get good grades and then get in a good college and then get a good job. Well that might have worked back in the 50?s and 60?s and up through the 80?s but that does not work anymore! In high school most kids learn how to fill out a job application. No one teaches how to become an entrepreneur. No one explains that by trading hours for dollars you will never become rich.

What have they done? They make it sound like rich people are bad and they should give away their money. Well that is just plain hogwash. Network marketing is the only way an average person can make a life for themselves and their families. You don?t have to have an education at all. It does not matter if you?re a man or a woman. It does not matter if your black or white this is the only industry that you will really get paid what you are worth.

Now for some that is great and others that is bad. But first I want to get one thing clear. NO one fails in network marketing. I know what you?re saying ?what are you talking about? I hear there is a 90% failure rate.? No one fails they plan and simply quit. You can?t start a business and in 60 or 90 days say this does not work. If you bought a McDonalds franchise you would have to invest over a million dollars and they say 3-5 years before you can expect positive cash flow.

You see that is most people?s mentality they are stuck in the employee mindset and they don?t understand how to think like a business owner. You have to expect that it will take a while to really see a lot. This is not get rich quick! It is more like get filthy rich slow. Most compensation plans are small enough percentage that it will take a while to start to see a big check every month.

The point that I am trying to make is that you MUST change your mindset when you start your business. It does not matter what company you are in it is the same! You have to get in the right mindset and then in the words of Jim Rohn ?you have to work harder on you than you work on your business.? you have to get involved in personal development or you will really never become very successful in this industry.

The very first thing you should read before you tell anyone about your new venture is ?My First Year In Network Marketing? by Mark Yarnell. That book tells it like it is and you will see what you have to do and what you will go through. Read it and then my next choice for you is an audio CD of ?Profile Of A Champion? by George Zalucki. Now it turns out to be more than 10 books but I think they are all must reads.

If you don?t want to fail in your network marketing business and you want success this year! Then change your mindset and work on personal development and you will see results. I don?t know any top earner that has not been a student of personal development to get to the top. I believe it is the sole reason why people fail in network marketing.
