Here?s a really interesting Frankfurt piece of news: German firm Giganten Aus Stahl (?Giants of Steel?) brought several outstanding life-size replicas of supercars to the event, all made entirely of scrap metal. The picture gallery below will show you a beautiful Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing, a Porsche Spyder and a Auto Union grand prix racer from before World War II.
By using only reclaimed car parts and other pieces of scrap metal, Giganten Aus Stahl managed to skillfully reflect the artistic beauty of all these cars. Interested customers should be ready to shell out between ?39,000 and ?69,000 ($54,000 ? $96,000) on one of these beauties.
The company does more than automotive works of art. Other creation include full-size sculptures of animals, athletes, movie characters like Aliens or Predators, and even pieces of furniture.
